Saathum has three kinds of listing. Live events (“Live events”) are a scheduled broadcast with a fixed start time. Group classes and 1:1 consultations (“Group classes” and “1:1 consultations”) are paid time with an expert, either in a small group or one-to-one, booked against their availability. Marketplace listings (buy, sell, social) are simple items or offers with no schedule attached. Start a listing from My listings → New listing.
What every listing needs
Whichever kind you’re creating, a listing needs:
- A title. Nothing publishes without one.
- Five photos or fewer. If you’ve added more than five cover photos, remove the extra ones.
- A price. It can’t be missing or negative; live shows and 1:1 sessions also have a minimum price — see Pricing your listing.
Marketplace listings (buy, sell, social) can publish with just the above — no category, schedule or photo is required for them.
What a live show or 1:1 session needs, on top of that
- A category. Pick one from the list — it decides which part of the marketplace your listing appears in.
- A cover photo or an AI poster. You need at least one real photo, or a generated AI poster that’s in draft or approved state, before you can publish.
- A category that still exists. If a category has been retired, you’ll be asked to pick another one.
- A category that’s switched on. Occasionally a whole section is switched off platform-side — if that’s the case you’ll see exactly why.
- A face photo. Upload a clear photo of your face before your listing can go to review. It’s used only to paint your AI poster and is never shown on the listing itself. If your listing already has a generated poster, you won’t be asked for one.
- For a live show: a start date and time in the future, and a duration between 5 and 480 minutes (8 hours).
- For a 1:1 session: a single seat (capacity is fixed at 1), and availability set in AvaCalendar — without open hours there, buyers have nothing to book.
Reading a blocker
When a listing can’t publish, Saathum shows you the exact reason in one sentence — never a raw error code. A few you might see:
- “Add a photo, or generate the AI poster, before publishing.”
- “Set the date and time this event starts.”
- “Set your availability in AvaCalendar before publishing a consult listing.”
Every open reason is listed together, so you can fix them all in one pass instead of resubmitting one at a time.
Publishing a paid live show or 1:1 session also runs a separate identity check on your account, so you may be asked to verify your ID at that point.
