This page explains how tokens and the in-app wallet work on Saathum. It sits alongside our Terms of Service, Refunds & Cancellations policy, Payouts & Withdrawals policy, and Pricing & Fees page.
1 Token = ₹1. Token prices and balances are
expressed in whole Indian rupees. Any payment record keeps the exact token amount for that
transaction.

Your token balance is held by Ava Global International, Inc., a Delaware corporation. Because we
are testing, balances are not a stored-value or payment instrument, are not open to the public,
and test balances may be adjusted or reset while the product is in development.
2. What a token is
A token is an in-app unit of account. It records how much service you are entitled to use on
Saathum. 1 Token = ₹1. This is the fixed customer-facing value
for India. Token prices and balances stay expressed in Tokens and whole Indian rupees.
3. Top-ups convert into tokens
When you top up, the amount is recorded as Tokens at the fixed rate of ₹1 per Token. Your wallet
balance remains expressed in Tokens. Existing balances and legacy records are preserved.
4. What tokens are not
Tokens use a fixed value of ₹1 per Token for accounting. Beyond that, a token is not a deposit,
not a bank balance, not e-money or a payment instrument, not a security or investment, and not
a cryptocurrency or virtual digital asset. Tokens do not earn interest, they cannot be
transferred to another person's account, and they carry no ownership or profit rights in
either company. They are spendable only inside Saathum. Withdrawal semantics are not yet
available; see Payouts & Withdrawals for the current status.
5. What tokens can be spent on
- AI features inside the app.
- Marketplace purchases — digital services offered by other users.
- Consultations — live consultancy sessions you book on the platform.
The token cost of a feature or service is shown before you confirm. Costs may change over time;
see Pricing & Fees. Some features may be unavailable in some
countries, or may be turned off temporarily.
6. Your balance
Your current token balance and recent activity are shown in the app. Please check your balance
and transaction history regularly and tell us promptly if something looks wrong.
7. Correcting balance errors
We may adjust a balance to correct a technical error, a duplicate credit, a failed or reversed
payment, a chargeback, or credit issued in error or obtained through abuse of a promotion. Where
we make an adjustment, we will normally record it in your transaction history. If you disagree
with an adjustment, contact [email protected].
8. Withdrawing unused tokens
Withdrawal semantics are not yet available. Do not treat a token balance as a
promise of cash redemption or a payout method. If a payment or booking must be reversed, Saathum
reverses the exact token amount recorded for that transaction; it does not recalculate a new
rupee amount from a later rate.
Tokens already spent are consumed unless a refund or reversal applies. Refund rules are set out in Refunds & Cancellations.
9. Suspension and account closure
If your account is suspended — for example while we investigate suspected fraud, a chargeback,
or a breach of our Terms of Service — we may temporarily prevent you from
spending or withdrawing your balance while the matter is reviewed.
If you close your account, or if we terminate it, any treatment of the remaining token balance
will follow the applicable law and account terms. No cash redemption or withdrawal workflow is
currently available.
10. Expiry
Tokens do not carry an expiry date under this policy. If that ever changes, we will say so here
and give notice in the app before it takes effect.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise
the "Last updated" date above.
